Many of our customers run the APM6-AX3000 as the radio layer behind a MikroTik router — RouterOS handles DHCP, the captive portal, and voucher/ticket distribution, while the AP stays in transparent bridge mode. Deployment Advantages

Five 8dBi omni antennas combined with built-in high-power amplifiers push signal far beyond standard 2–4 antenna designs, while the IP67 rating — one step above IP65 — resists dust ingress and temporary submersion, making the unit suitable for coastal, rainy, or high-humidity climates. 4kV lightning and 15kV ESD protection harden it against outdoor electrical events that routinely kill cheaper consumer gear.

A single 802.3at PoE cable carries both 48V power and Gigabit data up to 100m from the PoE injector or switch, simplifying pole installations. The three-step tool-free bracket mounts to poles of common diameters, and the waterproof RJ45 gland seals the Ethernet entry against driven rain. For field technicians, FAT AP mode means a laptop and the stock 192.168.62.1 web UI is all that’s needed to bring a site online.
