WB100 2.4GHz 300Mbps elevator wireless bridge with built-in 5dBi directional plate antenna
2.4GHz 802.11b/g/n MIMO on the MediaTek MTK7628 @ 580MHz — up to 300Mbps stable video backhaul for elevator monitoring of roughly 20 floors, with a built-in 5dBi directional plate antenna for fast, aligned installation.
WB100 digital-tube button pairing with no PC required, PtP and PtMP up to 8 nodes
Digital-tube matching technology — pair units in the field with zero PC configuration. Supports point-to-point and point-to-multipoint links of up to 8 nodes for multi-car or multi-stop elevator banks.
WB100 Main AP / Second AP switch sets Master / Slave role in seconds
Main AP / Second AP switch sets the Master/Slave role on the unit itself in seconds at height — no laptop or web UI needed. Directly prevents the inverted-Master fault that leaves a car recording locally with no Internet.
WB100 flexible power — 24V PoE single cable or 12V DC local supply under 10W
Flexible powering — 24V passive PoE over a single cable (50–70m depending on cable) or 12V 1A DC local supply, under 10W. Simplifies wiring in machine rooms and car-top junction boxes.
WB100 IP65 outdoor housing — windproof, rainproof, dustproof, UV-resistant
IP65 outdoor enclosure handles the vibration, dust, and -30°C to +55°C operating range of building shafts, with WEB remote management and DHCP or static IP for ongoing maintenance.

The WB100 is a high-performance, enterprise-class 2.4GHz elevator wireless bridge built on the MediaTek MTK7628 platform, delivering 802.11b/g/n MIMO at up to 300Mbps. Its digital-tube matching technology pairs units in the field with no computer — point-to-point or point-to-multipoint within 8 nodes — and a Main AP / Second AP switch sets the Master/Slave role in seconds. With a built-in 5dBi directional plate antenna, IP65 outdoor housing, and flexible 24V PoE or 12V DC power, it is purpose-built for elevator monitoring of up to roughly 20 floors.

Ideal For

  • Elevator car monitoring where the Master must sit at the machine-room router
  • Point-to-multipoint elevator banks (up to 8 nodes from one link)
  • Cost-sensitive surveillance shafts needing reliable HD video backhaul
  • Installers who need fast, PC-free pairing and role setup at height

Deployment Advantages

The digital-tube button directly addresses the most common elevator-bridge failure — an inverted Master that records video locally but has no Internet. Pairing and the Main AP / Second AP (Master/Slave) role are set on the unit itself with no laptop or web UI at height, and the PtMP-within-8-nodes capability covers multi-car installations from a single configuration. The 5dBi directional plate antenna and IP65 housing handle the vibration, dust, and temperature range (-30°C to +55°C operating) of building shafts while maintaining stable 300Mbps transmission.

Flexible powering — 24V passive PoE over a single cable (50–70m depending on cable) or 12V DC local supply at under 10W — simplifies wiring in machine rooms and car-top junction boxes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which end should be the Master on the WB100 for elevator projects?
The WB100 uses a Main AP / Second AP switch — set the unit connected to the router with Internet access as the Main AP (Master), normally the fixed unit in the machine room or shaft base, not the unit riding in the elevator car. The car unit is the Second AP (Slave). See our elevator Master/Slave guide for the full explanation.
How does WB100 pairing work without a computer?
The WB100 uses digital-tube matching technology: a digital switch button with a segment display lets you pair units in the field with no PC. It supports point-to-point and point-to-multipoint links of up to 8 nodes, which suits multi-car or multi-stop elevator monitoring.
What power options does the WB100 support?
The WB100 accepts 24V 0.5A PoE over the network cable (50–70m depending on cable) or 12V 1A DC local power, with under 10W consumption. It is not a Mode A/Mode B dual-PoE device — confirm your switch outputs 24V passive PoE or use the bundled injector.
Is OEM/ODM customization available for this product?
Yes. MossLink offers full OEM and ODM services for the WB100, including custom firmware behavior, fixed Master/Slave roles, enclosure branding, and private-label packaging. Minimum order quantities apply. Contact us to discuss your project requirements.
