The BE361 is a cloud managed dual-band Wi-Fi 7 ceiling access point built on the Qualcomm IPQ5332 + QCN6432 enterprise platform with a quad-core Cortex-A53 1.5GHz CPU, 1GB DDR4, and 256MB NAND flash. It delivers BE3600 performance — 688.5Mbps on 2.4GHz and 2882.5Mbps on 5GHz with MLO, 4096-QAM, and up to 240MHz channel width — and supports up to 256 concurrent clients with MU-MIMO and Beamforming. Two 2.5G Multi-Gig ports keep the wired backhaul ahead of the radios, and single-cable PoE or a DC 12V/1.5A adapter powers the slim 220 × 220 × 39 mm round housing flush against ceilings in hotels, offices, classrooms, and retail spaces.

Ideal For

  • Hotel guest rooms and corridors upgrading to Wi-Fi 7 for per-floor coverage
  • Offices, conference rooms, and open-plan areas with dense concurrent users
  • Schools, classrooms, and dormitories with large numbers of student devices
  • Restaurants, shopping malls, and hospitality venues offering high-speed guest Wi-Fi
  • Managed service providers running multi-site networks from one cloud dashboard

Wi-Fi 7 Without the Wired Bottleneck

Most Wi-Fi 7 access points ship with a single Gigabit port that caps real-world throughput below what the radios can deliver. The BE361 pairs its 2882.5Mbps 5GHz radio with two 10/100/1000M/2.5G RJ45 ports — LAN1 takes PoE input for the backhaul, and LAN2 lets installers daisy-chain a wired device such as an IPTV box or desk phone from the same ceiling drop. MLO and 4096-QAM handle dense multi-device environments with low latency, keeping large file downloads, video conferencing, and HD streaming smooth. For a deeper look at what the new generation changes in practice, see our Wi-Fi 6 vs Wi-Fi 7 enterprise comparison.

Cloud Management Built In

Unlike controller-dependent thin APs, the BE361 connects directly to a cloud platform managed from any web browser or the mobile APP. Integrators can zero-touch provision new sites, monitor client counts and RF health, push SSID and security changes, and upgrade firmware across an entire estate remotely — cutting truck rolls for routine maintenance. For standalone or air-gapped sites, the local Web GUI, SSH, Telnet, and SNMP remain fully available.

Deployment Advantages

With 30dBm maximum transmit power per band and four internal 5dBi antennas, a single BE361 covers up to a 100m radius in open line-of-sight conditions, reducing the number of APs needed per floor. 802.11k/v/r fast roaming and AP Mesh keep clients connected as they move between APs. Multi-SSID with WiFi VLAN tagging, guest isolation, per-SSID schedules and speed limits, and WPA3 security protect tenant and guest traffic on shared infrastructure. The firmware includes both AP mode and Router mode — with DHCP server, PPPoE, IPv4/IPv6 dual stack, virtual server/DMZ, and UPnP — for small sites where one device must handle both routing and Wi-Fi.

For mixed indoor-outdoor projects, pair the BE361 with the APH4-BE3600 outdoor Wi-Fi 7 AP to carry BE3600 performance into courtyards and poolside areas, or specify the XD301 Wi-Fi 6 ceiling AP for floors where budget matters more than peak throughput. Our Wi-Fi 6 / Wi-Fi 7 AP solution page covers full-site planning across both generations.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does Wi-Fi 7 add over a Wi-Fi 6 ceiling AP like the XD301?
Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) introduces Multi-Link Operation (MLO), 4096-QAM modulation, and wider channels — the BE361 supports up to 240MHz on 5GHz for 2882.5Mbps, versus 2402Mbps at 160MHz on a Wi-Fi 6 AX3000 AP. Combined with dual 2.5G wired ports, the BE361 delivers higher throughput and lower latency per client in dense environments.
Why does the BE361 have 2.5G ports instead of Gigabit?
The 5GHz radio alone reaches 2882.5Mbps, which would saturate a single Gigabit uplink. The BE361 provides two 10/100/1000M/2.5G RJ45 ports — LAN1 with PoE input for the backhaul and LAN2 for daisy-chaining a wired device — so the wired side never bottlenecks Wi-Fi 7 performance.
How is the BE361 managed remotely?
The BE361 connects to a cloud management platform accessible from a web browser or mobile APP. Operators can monitor status, push configuration, upgrade firmware, and troubleshoot every AP remotely — no on-site controller hardware is required. A local Web GUI, SSH, Telnet, and SNMP are also available for standalone or NMS-integrated deployments.
How many clients can the BE361 support simultaneously?
The BE361 supports up to 256 concurrent wireless clients, with 128 recommended for optimal per-user throughput. The Qualcomm quad-core platform with 1GB DDR4, MU-MIMO, and Beamforming keeps performance stable under high-density loads in hotels, offices, and classrooms.
What power options does the BE361 support?
The BE361 is powered via PoE over a single Ethernet cable into the LAN1 port, or by a DC 12V/1.5A adapter. Power consumption stays at or below 25W. PoE delivers both power and data over one cable run, eliminating the need for a power outlet at the ceiling.
Is OEM/ODM customization available for this product?
Yes. MossLink offers full OEM and ODM services for the BE361, including custom firmware and cloud branding, enclosure silkscreen, and private-label packaging. Minimum order quantities apply. Contact us to discuss your project requirements.
What is the MOQ for the BE361?
Standard BE361 orders start at 100 units. Logo and packaging customization (OEM) also starts at 100 units, custom firmware at 500 units, and custom hardware (ODM) at 1,000 units. Contact sales with your target quantity for a formal quotation.
Can I get a sample of the BE361 before bulk ordering?
Yes. We supply 1–5 evaluation units at product cost plus shipping, and the sample fee is credited toward your first bulk order. Contact us via email or WhatsApp with the model number to arrange a sample.
What is the lead time for the BE361?
In-stock units ship within 3–5 business days. Bulk production orders typically require 3–4 weeks, and OEM/ODM orders with customization take 4–8 weeks depending on complexity. Rush production is available at additional cost.
Is the BE361 certified for my market?
The BE361 carries CE, FCC, and RoHS certification as standard. Additional certifications for specific markets (IC, TELEC, NCC, etc.) can be arranged through our ODM service.
How is product quality controlled before shipment?
Every unit undergoes 100% inspection and 24-hour burn-in testing before leaving the factory, and a signed QC report ships with every order — full traceability from component to delivery.
What payment terms do you accept?
Standard terms are a 30% deposit with order confirmation and the 70% balance before shipment, paid in USD via T/T. Letter of credit and flexible terms are available for established partners.
