The XD301 is a cloud managed dual-band Wi-Fi 6 ceiling access point built on the Qualcomm IPQ5018 + QCN6102 enterprise platform with a quad-core 1GHz CPU, 512MB DDR3L, and 128MB NAND flash. It delivers AX3000 performance — 574Mbps on 2.4GHz and 2402Mbps on 5GHz with HE160 channel width — and supports up to 256 concurrent clients with MU-MIMO and Beamforming. Powered by a single 802.3at PoE cable or a DC 12V/1.5A adapter, its slim 200 × 200 × 40.5 mm round housing mounts flush on ceilings in hotels, offices, classrooms, and retail spaces.

Cloud Management Built In
Unlike controller-dependent thin APs, the XD301 connects directly to a cloud platform managed from any web browser or the mobile APP. Integrators can zero-touch provision new sites, monitor client counts and RF health, push SSID and security changes, and upgrade firmware across an entire estate remotely — cutting truck rolls for routine maintenance. For standalone or air-gapped sites, the local Web GUI, SSH, and SNMP remain fully available.
Deployment Advantages
The single-cable 802.3at PoE connection simplifies ceiling installation — no separate power outlet is required, though a DC 12V/1.5A input is available where PoE is not. A second Gigabit LAN port lets installers daisy-chain a wired device such as an IPTV box or desk phone from the same ceiling drop.
With 27dBm maximum transmit power per band and four internal 5dBi antennas, a single XD301 covers up to a 100m radius in open line-of-sight conditions, reducing the number of APs needed per floor. 802.11k/v/r fast roaming and Device Mesh keep clients connected as they move between APs, while up to 160MHz channel width on 5GHz sustains 2402Mbps for bandwidth-hungry applications. Multi-SSID with WiFi VLAN tagging, guest isolation, per-SSID schedules and speed limits, WPA3, and 802.1x Enterprise security protect tenant and guest traffic on shared infrastructure. Can the XD301 work as a router instead of a pure access point?
Yes. The firmware includes both AP mode and Router mode. In Router mode it supports Static/DHCP/PPPoE WAN connections, a DHCP server, IPv4/IPv6 dual stack, virtual server/DMZ, and URL filtering — useful for small sites where one device must handle both routing and Wi-Fi.
