The S8021F is an 11-port unmanaged smart PoE switch with 8× 802.3af/at PoE ports (30W each, 96W total), 2× Gigabit RJ45 uplinks, and 1× Gigabit SFP fiber slot, powered by a built-in AC 100–240V supply. With one-key 250m EXTEND mode, PoE Watchdog auto-recovery, port VLAN isolation, and 4kV surge protection in a fanless steel enclosure, it delivers a cost-effective 8-camera switch with the option of a Gigabit fiber backhaul.

Both are 8-port PoE switches with two Gigabit RJ45 uplinks and a Gigabit SFP slot. The key difference is the PoE ports: the S8021F's 8 PoE ports are 10/100Mbps with a 96W budget — ideal for standard IP cameras and APs at typical 8-camera sites. The S821G upgrades to 8 full-Gigabit PoE ports with a 120W budget and a larger switching fabric, for Gigabit cameras, Wi-Fi 6 APs, or higher-draw deployments.
Can I connect the S8021F to my network over fiber?
Yes. The Gigabit SFP slot accepts a 1.25G optical module (single-mode up to 120km or multimode up to 550m, sold separately) so you can run a fiber uplink to a distant building or core switch. The two Gigabit RJ45 uplinks remain available for copper cascading at the same time.
How far can the S8021F deliver PoE?
Standard PoE reaches 100 metres. With the one-key Extend DIP switch enabled, Ports 1–8 drop to 10Mbps and deliver PoE power and data up to 250 metres — enough to cover perimeter cameras and remote APs without mid-span injectors.
