Product FAQs
What wireless standards do MossLink access points support?
Our access point line covers Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), and Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax with 6GHz). We are developing Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) products for release in late 2026.
Are MossLink products compatible with third-party controllers?
MossLink APs support standard protocols and can work in standalone mode with a built-in web GUI. For centralized management, we offer our own cloud and on-premise controller platform. Integration with third-party controllers depends on the specific protocol requirements — contact our engineering team for compatibility details.
What certifications do MossLink products carry?
All MossLink products are CE, FCC, and RoHS certified. Additional certifications (IC, TELEC, NCC, etc.) are available on specific models or can be arranged through our ODM service for your target market.
Do you offer OpenWrt firmware on your routers?
Yes. Several router models support OpenWrt-based firmware out of the box. For OEM projects, we can build custom OpenWrt firmware with specific packages, web GUI modifications, and default configurations tailored to your requirements.
What is the warranty period?
Standard warranty is 5 years for access points, PoE switches, and wireless bridges. CPE routers carry a 3-year warranty. Extended warranty options are available for OEM partners.
Ordering FAQs

MOQ varies by product and customization level. For standard products with no customization, MOQ starts at 100 units. For OEM-branded products (custom logo, packaging), MOQ typically starts at 500 units. For full ODM projects (custom hardware or firmware), MOQ starts at 1,000 units. Contact sales for specific product MOQs.
What are your payment terms?
Standard terms are 30% deposit with order confirmation, 70% balance before shipment. For established partners with order history, we offer flexible terms including NET 30 and letter of credit. All payments are processed in USD.

Shipping FAQs
Which countries do you ship to?
MossLink ships worldwide. We have established logistics routes to Asia, Europe, North America, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. We work with DHL, FedEx, UPS, and sea freight forwarders depending on order size and destination.
What is the typical lead time?
Standard products in stock ship within 3-5 business days. Production orders (500+ units) typically require 3-4 weeks. OEM/ODM orders with customization require 4-8 weeks depending on complexity. Rush production is available at additional cost.
How are products packaged for shipping?
Each unit is individually boxed with protective foam. Carton boxes are palletized for freight shipments. For OEM orders, we use your custom packaging and labeling. All shipments include commercial invoice, packing list, and certificate of origin.
Do you handle customs documentation?
Yes. We provide all standard export documentation including commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, and CE/FCC certificates. For specific country import requirements, our logistics team can prepare additional documentation.
Technical FAQs
Do MossLink APs support seamless roaming?
Yes. Our enterprise access points support 802.11k/v/r fast roaming protocols. When managed through our controller platform, clients transition between APs without perceptible disconnection — essential for VoIP, video conferencing, and mobile applications.
What PoE standard do I need for MossLink access points?
Most MossLink ceiling APs require 802.3af (15.4W) or 802.3at (30W) PoE. Check the specific product datasheet for exact power requirements. Our MKL-SW8P and MKL-SW16P switches provide 802.3at PoE+ on all ports.
Can MossLink wireless bridges work in heavy rain?
Our outdoor bridges are IP66 rated, meaning they are fully protected against powerful water jets and heavy rain. Signal performance in extreme weather depends on frequency and distance — 5GHz links may experience minor throughput reduction in very heavy rainfall at maximum range.
What management protocols are supported?
MossLink managed devices support web GUI, CLI (SSH/Telnet), SNMP v1/v2c/v3, and cloud management. Routers additionally support TR-069 for ISP remote management. API access is available on enterprise models for integration with third-party NMS platforms.
Do you provide firmware updates?
Yes. Firmware updates are released periodically with bug fixes, security patches, and feature additions. Updates can be applied individually through the web GUI or pushed across the network via the cloud management platform.
