The WR1500 is a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 AX1500 router built on a Realtek RTL8367RB + RTL8197H + RTL8832BR platform, delivering 300Mbps on 2.4GHz (802.11n) and 1200Mbps on 5.8GHz (802.11ax) for up to 32 concurrent users. With EasyMesh networking, 802.1Q VLAN support, WISP mode, and telecom operator-grade surge protection, it is a flexible and cost-effective Wi-Fi 6 router for families, stores, restaurants, and small enterprise networks.

The WR1500’s telecom operator-standard hardware provides 6kV common-mode and 1.5kV differential-mode surge protection compliant with YD/T 968-2010, YD/T 993-2006, and YD/T 1082-2011 standards, with an enhanced heat sink for stable operation under load. HNAT hardware acceleration delivers up to 2Gbps bidirectional WAN forwarding.

EasyMesh and relay mode let installers expand wireless coverage across larger premises with a unified SSID, while 802.1Q VLAN support enables traffic segmentation for guest, IoT, and management networks — capabilities not typically found on entry-level routers in this class.

Why is the WR1500's 2.4GHz band rated at 300Mbps?
The WR1500 uses 802.11n on the 2.4GHz band (300Mbps) and 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) on the 5.8GHz band (1200Mbps), for a combined 1500Mbps total. The Wi-Fi 6 features — OFDMA, MU-MIMO, BSS Color, and 1024QAM — operate on the 5GHz band where the highest throughput and lowest latency are delivered.
